Joseph Asiedu Darkwah is pleading with Ghanaians to help his 43-year-old long-lost daughter, born in Begoro and raised in Nkawkaw-Abirem.
Currently based in the US, Mr. Asiedu indicated that he lost contact with his baby mama after traveling abroad. According to him, Stella Abena Yeboah’s (mother) family did not approve of their relationship.
He also revealed that his long-lost daughter (Akua Asantewaa) was born on October 11, 1978, in Begoro to Madam Stella Yeboah. Madam Stella’s siblings are Kwame Gabriel, Adjoa, Kwasi Isaac, etc.
Mr. Asiedu is a father of three besides Akua Asantewaa. Presently, they all live in the US with their father.
“When Akua was about 14 years, he visited her step-siblings in Ghana, but I was in the US. There were no phones at the time to talk to her, so she went back to her mother. My children were also young and did not remember the town she went back to.”
“It’s been 22 years since my children came here, but they saw Akua Asantewaa. I don’t know why she did not come back again,” he said on SVTV Africa Connect with DJ Nyaami.
Mr. Asiedu has pleaded with Ghanaians to help find his long-lost daughter.
“I’m very serious about looking for my daughter because it is not her fault. I am at fault for not connecting with her when she was young. Her grandfather did not allow me to get close to my daughter, and later moved to Abirem,” he added.
Kindly contact SVTV Africa if you have any information on Stella Yeboah or Akua Asantewaa.
