Australia-based Ghanaian Dr Himil has stated that Ghana is ruled by emotions and not the laws. He added that it is partly the reason the country struggles to develop.
In an interview with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Dr Himil emphasized the notion that Ghana operates more on the basis of emotions rather than adhering strictly to established laws and regulations. He cited many instances where Ghanaians tempered justice with mercy.
He pointed out that many Ghanaians and Africans, despite facing financial hardships, often prefer to make a favourable impression on others, driven by societal expectations. In his advice, he stressed that true success cannot be achieved when one allows their emotions to dictate their decisions and actions.
He urged individuals, particularly the youth, to cultivate a deep respect for time, highlighting that valuing and managing one’s time effectively is crucial for achieving their goals and aspirations. According to Dr. Himil, a disciplined approach to time can be a transformative factor in their journey toward success.
