Ghanaian Actress Beverly Afaglo Baah indicated that her husband’s fame took her to another level; she became even more famous after marrying the former leader of the defunct hiplife group.
Speaking with SVTV Africa’s DJ Nyaami, Beverly mentioned that despite being a well-known actress, her husband’s fame made her even more popular and this helped in her acting and businesses.
In response to what she has gained from her marriage to Choirmaster, Beverly said, “Fame and my children. Because my husband is part of the reason my fame has increased. After I took a break to give birth, it was tough to break into the industry again.
But his fame covered me because I could sell more as ‘Choirmaster’s wife.’ I’m grateful for that but at a point, I wanted to be recognised as Beverly and not Choirmaster’s wife.”
Beverly and Choirmaster have been married for 12 years now. She advised young couples to avoid advice from unmarried people because they lack experience.
The celebrated actress owns several businesses including Traffic Shawarma. She recently launched a franchise for Traffic Shawarma inviting other entrepreneurs to invest in the brand.
