UK-based Ghanaian Alexander Nsiah revealed that he lied about his job despite managing a transport company in Kumasi.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Alexander indicated that he did that because of his bitter experience from past relationships.
According to Alexander, it was a strategy to find a woman who loved him and “wanted to spend the rest of her life with me because marriage is a long journey and I had experienced broken hearts.”
“I lied to both her and her mother that I was a bus conductor (trotro mate). I walked her to the house every day after work, but one day we were drenched by the rain when my car was parked at a fuel station. I dressed the part whenever I visited her, so they never guessed.
Seven months later, her mother did some investigations before our marriage. She asked me three questions when she returned. I realised she had found out. So I apologised. If it weren’t for that, they would have found out after the wedding,” he explained on Daily Hustle Worldwide.
