Germany-based Ghanaian Ransford Johnny Annan disclosed that he makes about GHS760,000 annually working in the Cyber Security field.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide with DJ Nyaami, Ransford indicated that with his knowledge of IT, he decided to take courses after he arrived in Germany. He is currently employed in a Cyber Security company, making about 60,000 euros (GHS750,000).
“I’m a Cyber Security Analyst and can work from home whenever possible. My monthly salary may be equal to that of an MP in Ghana. I make about 60,000 euros but 50,000 euros from the beginning. It could go up to 70,000 euros, and It’s flexible,” he said.
Moreover, Ransford mentioned that it is easier for skilled persons to make money in Germany and Europe than in Ghana. He encouraged Ghanaians in Germany to learn the language for better opportunities.
“If you’re skilled in Ghana, you can come to Germany because the government allows skilled foreigners to come in. It’s better to come on that route than visiting visa. The language is the most important part,” he noted.
Ransford added that he wishes to establish a business in Ghana in future.
