Czech Republic-based Ghanaian Kojo Kwakye has disclosed that the average salary in the Czech is 1500 Euros but added that the standard of living is low compared to other European countries.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Kojo, who has been living in the Central European country for about a decade, told DJ Nyaami about the socio-economic development, the standard of living, religion and more.
Kojo mentioned that the average salary is low compared to Germany. However, the standard of living in Czechia is low.
“The average salary is 1500 Euros depending on where you work. Many work in multinational companies, so they pay above the average.
The good thing is that the standard of living is low compared to Germany. We spend about 500 euros on a one-bedroom and 700 for two bedrooms. Food isn’t expensive either,” he said.
Speaking on hospitality for foreigners, Kojo revealed that the Czech people are friendly and respect foreigners, especially Blacks. On religion, Kojo stated that most of the Czech people are atheists.
“About 90% of Blacks here work office jobs at multinational companies because of the language. You can’t work as a cleaner because of the language. It is difficult, and you have to be fluent to get such jobs.”
