Abigail’s Search for Her Long-Lost Friend, Abena Yeboah Appiah
Abigail recently appeared on SVTV Africa Connect, seeking help in locating her long-lost friend, Abena Yeboah Appiah. Abigail, who currently lives in Lapaz, previously resided in Kasoa before relocating.
She explained that she lost contact with Abena five years ago due to SIM card re-registration issues. Although they both had each other’s numbers, Abigail lost hers and has been unable to reach her since.
Abena is currently based in California, USA, and serves in the U.S. Navy. She is dark-skinned, slim, and was Abigail’s close friend for many years after high school. They both graduated from Abuakwa State College(Abusco) in 2002.
Abena, who was living in Kumasi before traveling abroad, once told Abigail that her mother still lives in Kumasi. Unfortunately, Abigail has lost contact with her mother as well.
About 24-25 years after high school, Abena joined a platform where she found Abigail’s number and tried to reconnect. However, before they could exchange contacts again, Abigail lost her phone, and she has been unable to retrieve Abena’s number since.
Abena mentioned that she travels frequently due to her job in the U.S. Army and Navy SEALs. She had previously told Abigail that she was going to be deployed to Italy, but Abigail is unsure whether she ever made it there or got stuck somewhere else.
Since then, Abigail has not heard from her best friend, and she is deeply worried. Abena used to call her all the time, and they had a strong sisterly bond. Although Abena never did anything material for Abigail, she was a good personand a true friend.
In their school days, Abigail even moved in with Abena, which strengthened their friendship. Abena was also concerned when she couldn’t reach Abigail, which makes Abigail even more anxious about her disappearance.
Abigail has tried searching for Abena on Facebook, but her account appears inactive. She remembers Abena’s Facebook nickname, but it hasn’t helped her locate her.
She hopes that by sharing her story on SVTV Africa Connect, someone who knows Abena will help reconnect them.
