Nana Ama Nyamah Akuamoah’s Emotional Reunion with Her Long-Lost Aunt
On SVTV Africa Connect, Nana Ama Nyamah Akuamoah shared her emotional journey of searching for her long-lost aunt, Chrisana Addae aka Iron Lady. According to Nana Ama, after the interview, she received a call less than 24 hours later from her aunt. She was overjoyed when she saw her aunt’s photo; though she had grown older, her voice still resembled that of a young lady. They discovered they had mutual friends, which brought even more happiness to both of them. Nana Ama expressed how her aunt’s kind words had left a lasting impact on her heart and how she had been searching for her ever since she went to secondary school in 1998.
Nana Ama went on to explain that her cousin had also been searching for her father and couldn’t find him. She advised her cousin to contact her aunt, and from there, SVTV Africa helped them reconnect. In the video posted, Nana Ama recounted a significant moment: her aunt, known as the “Iron Lady,” had worked at Sunyani Radio Bar and had since retired. She then took it upon herself to search for Sunyani Radio Bar and was able to contact a person named Josh Babanawo, who gave her the number for the Iron Lady, which was shared with Nana Ama.
Despite a small mix-up about the school language, Nana Ama expressed her joy at finally reconnecting with her aunt. She also shared how touched she was by the comments from viewers who said that the interview had helped them save money for their businesses, cutting down expenses and even boosting their ventures.
Nana Ama ended by expressing her love and admiration for her aunt, the Iron Lady, who she holds dear to her heart.
