Vincent Wadee: Transforming Education and Innovation: Based in the Netherlands, Vincent Wadee is a visionary working to create change through education and innovative projects.
In his recent interview on SVTV Africa’s Daily Hustle Worldwide show, Vincent Wade spoke with DJ Nyaami about his ongoing projects and their potential to transform communities in Ghana and beyond.
ICT Training and Education
Vincent highlighted plans to expand ICT training programs in Ghana, particularly in Takoradi.
These courses are accessible worldwide, encouraging participants to subscribe and learn.
While laptops—preferably Macbooks, Windows laptops & Notebooks—are recommended for practical work
However, Vincent emphasized that phones are primarily suited for reading and may not be effective for hands-on ICT learning.
He shared that the ICT Centre has been established to provide free ICT courses, covering platforms like Amazon, Google, Cisco, and AI fundamentals.
While the courses are free, participants will pay a fee for facility usage and mentorship.
“AI has changed the dimensions of technology, and we need to train people on how to utilize AI and ensure cybersecurity,” Vincent stated.
Innovative Housing Prototype
Vincent is also spearheading a project that uses a groundbreaking brick prototype from South Africa to revolutionize construction.
The bricks, which are 6 inches in size, allow a two-bedroom house to be built in just a week without the need for mortar or pillars.
Only basic cement is required for foundational work. “This technology is a game-changer, allowing us to build faster and at a lower cost,”
he explained.
Empowering the Youth
Addressing the state of youth in Ghana, Vincent expressed concerns about laziness and a lack of discipline.
He urged young people to use their time wisely, work hard, and invest in activities that generate income, such as farming or vocational training.
“The youth need to learn skilled jobs with genuine interest. If I were young again, I would focus more on my studies and skill development,” he shared.
He also pointed out that vocational skills open opportunities, such as Germany’s Opportunity Card, which provides visas to skilled workers who meet financial requirements.
“It takes one to two years to save $15,000, but with discipline and hard work, it’s possible,” he added.
Supporting Economic Growth
Vincent called for policies to ensure street children and hawkers receive education or vocational training.
He highlighted the role of market women as the backbone of Ghana’s economy and encouraged cooperative efforts among farmers to standardize prices and strengthen bargaining power.
He also urged pastors to guide their congregations toward practical vocational training, teaching members to work hard and sustain themselves.
In Conclusion
Vincent emphasized that poverty is not a sickness but a state of mind. He encouraged Ghanaians to develop a growth mindset and avoid falling for the illusion of wealth abroad.
“The people abroad show off, which makes others want to save and travel, but it’s better to first succeed at home. If you do decide to travel, go as a tourist to explore, learn, and grow your mindset,” he advised.
With his focus on education, innovation, and community empowerment, Vincent Wade is determined to create a brighter future for individuals and communities
