Abena Papabi, a Ghanaian based in Turkey disclosed that she worked in Israel for three years but had to leave for another country.
In a chat with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Abena mentioned that despite the high salaries and job abundance in Israel, she could not continue living there because getting a residence permit is nearly impossible.
“I managed to generate significant income in Israel but I had to leave the country because their immigration does not give immigrants permits to stay like in other countries.”
Abena Papabi indicated that she returned to Ghana to prepare to travel to the US but she could not get the visa. Her agent advised her to travel to Turkey instead.
Speaking about Turkey, Abena Papabi stated that Turkey is relatively better than Ghana but not a country to hustle. This is because many immigrants work without proper documentation and many have also been deported.
