US-based Ghanaian Dorcas firmly believes that women possess strength and resilience that men do not often recognise, but they do not like accountability.
She thinks societal stereotypes have made many perceive women as weaker, but she is convinced that their capabilities defy these misconceptions. Speaking with SVTV Africa’s DJ Nyaami, Dorcas
Moreover, Dorcas mentioned that some women resist being held responsible for their actions. They avoid accountability because they fear the potential consequences of admitting mistakes.
“Women are not weak. The truth is that we don’t like accountability. We only want to be praised but do not do the right thing. Women always want everything to go their way which is not right,” she noted.
She added that this reluctance can manifest in various ways, from deflecting blame onto others to making excuses for their behaviour.
