Henry recounted a significant chapter in his life where he brought his Ghanaian ex-girlfriend from the Netherlands to Ghana to get married but she fled while he was at work.
In a chat on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Henry indicated that he paid for her flight ticket and brought her to his home while they planned the wedding.
When he returned from work, he discovered that his ex-wife had taken off with all the traditional marriage items meant for the ceremony. This unexpected turn of events left him feeling bewildered and betrayed.
“My ex-girlfriend hugged and kissed me that morning saying she would miss me. Unknowingly, she was planning to run. She took all the items I bought for the engagement including the rings and clothes I had not worn yet.
She was not a stranger. I knew her family and confronted them. She told me I bought the items in her name, so she took them. She wanted to return the items later but I rejected them,” he recounted.
