Ghanaian based in Russia, Francis proudly shared his unique achievement of being the first Ghanaian and African to serve in the Russian Army.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide with DJ Nyaami, he disclosed his role in the military is particularly challenging, as he serves as an armoured car driver, a position known for its high level of responsibility and inherent dangers.
In this capacity, he is tasked with operating heavily fortified vehicles in various combat situations, ensuring the safety of his team while navigating through unpredictable environments. Francis shared his experience fighting in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war with DJ Nyaami
“Ukraine is destroyed. They do not have men to fight anymore. The war is still ongoing and Russia has taken over most of Ukraine’s cities and ports. Over 10,000 Ukraine soldiers have died in this war,” he revealed.
Speaking on the effects the war has had on him, Francis said, “I’m unable to sleep even though aim on vacation now. I can go three days without sleep because of my time in the Army.”
