Akua Nyameyie noted that women must think of marriage as a blessing and added that feminism must not be practiced in a marriage if they want a happy one.

According to Akua Nyameyie marriage itself should not be seen merely as a blessing; rather, the true blessing lies in choosing the right partner. In an interview with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Akua stated that she believes that the quality of the marital relationship significantly depends on the individuals involved.

In her discussion, she expressed a strong viewpoint on the dynamics of marriage, arguing that the ideals of feminism cannot effectively coexist within traditional marital structures. She advocated that for a marriage to function harmoniously, women must willingly submit to their husbands, suggesting that this submission can lead to a more stable and fulfilling union.

Furthermore, Akua addressed a notable societal pressure that weighs heavily on young women today: the expectation to marry. She urged these young ladies to remain steadfast in their choices and not to yield to external pressures or societal expectations that may force them into marriage before they are ready.

She encouraged them to take their time and to prioritize finding a partner who aligns with their values and aspirations, rather than succumbing to the rush to conform.
