Gifty Ntiamoah, a US-based Ghanaian stated that people called her crazy when she decided to relocate to Ghana permanently but she plans to go ahead with her plan.
In an SVTV AFRICA interview with DJ Nyaami, Gifty indicated that many people regarded her as somewhat eccentric when she boldly returned to her roots in Ghana.
She explained that the fast-paced and demanding lifestyle in the United States had become overwhelming for her. Each day was filled with pressures that left her feeling drained. However, she felt an undeniable sense of belonging and comfort whenever she stepped foot in Ghana.
For Gifty, returning to Ghana was a return to her true self. She said, “It feels so good whenever I’m in Ghana but I don’t stay long because I leave the kids behind. So, I decided it was time but people called me crazy. They mentioned the kids’ education and how much I make here but it wasn’t about that.”
Gifty has established an online clinic where she diagnoses and prescribes medicine to her patients. This will allow her to work from anywhere in the world while enjoying the peace she wants.
