Drizzle, a dedicated truck driver based in the US disclosed that he saves $8000 monthly from his $3000 weekly pay.
Speaking with DJ Nyaami on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Drizzle mentioned that as a bachelor living in the US, he saves $8000 each month. This was in response to how long it would take him to save $13,000.
Unlike what many Ghanaians think, Drizzle intimated that salaries differ depending on the job. However, he earns almost $3000 as a tractor-trailer driver.
According to Drizzle, truck drivers are paid based on experience. New drivers earn less until they have gathered years of experience.
“The US has helped me but if I get some money, I will return home to stay. We are only here for the money, not to live. I left my business in Ghana behind and was desperate to travel but I want to return to Ghana.”
Moreover, Drizzle also noted that his Liberian ex-wife threw him out during winter because she was insecure. She thought he would divorce him after he settled in the US.
