Dr Himil, a Ghanaian based in Australia stated that Ghanaians often vote to power noise makers instead of wise and brave people.
In a chat with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Dr Himil mentioned that there is a tendency for individuals who create a lot of noise to be chosen as leaders instead of those who demonstrate wisdom and thoughtful decision-making.
He indicated that this phenomenon has hindered the country’s progress. Ghana needs to prioritise the nation’s development, but this goal is impeded by a lack of capable leaders who can effectively implement strategic plans for growth and progress.
“In the West, two out of ten people are qualified to lead a nation but in Africa, it is four out of ten. The difference is that in the West, the eight people allow the two to lead but in Africa. But in Ghana, the six will suppress the wise people. We allow noise makers instead of wise people to lead.”
According to him, the intentional suppression of Africans by the West through the imposition of religion was a strategic move aimed at establishing and maintaining global superpower status. He said, “Six months ago, Putin came out with the original Bible. Only Russia and Ethiopia have the unedited Bible. Jesus and his disciples were all Blacks.”
