Israel-based Ghanaian often called Pimapima mentioned that despite the work stress in Israel, he will not leave for the US or Canada because he earns more.
In a recent interview with SVTV AFRICA, Pimapima emphasised that life in Israel is centred around work with little time for leisure. Despite the challenges, he expressed his commitment to remaining in Israel and not relocating to Canada or the United States.
He also mentioned that, even without proper documentation, he earns more in Israel than individuals with legal status in Canada and the US. During the interview, he discussed his perspective on life in Israel, stating that while there may be financial opportunities, there is a lack of happiness and social life.
“You can’t stay in Israel if you don’t have courage. Aside from the work stress, the war is another reason to move but I won’t leave. Some Ghanaians in Canada or the US cannot compare their salaries to mine. I would be lying if I told you there are no jobs here. You will get the money but stay home,” he disclosed.
Pimapima travelled out of Ghana in the 90s and had no contact with his family in Ghana until his first interview with SVTV Africa. According to Pimapima, most of his family assumed he had died and only saw him for the first time in years on SVTV Africa.
