Mavis Akos, a Netherlands-based Ghanaian indicated that it is tough for her to find genuine love because most men come for their selfish interests and not love.
Speaking with DJ Nyaami on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Mavis Akos disclosed that on her visit to Ghana, she encountered many potential partners but they were either stingy or needed help.
“A Ghanaian man in Dubai gave me GHS2000 on my recent visit to Ghana. I had spent all my money by then and was about to leave. This guy called me with ten different numbers to take his money back because I didn’t accept his proposal.
I don’t see anything wrong with helping out a friend but most Ghanaian men are selfish and stingy. I’m single by choice. They are looking for help, not love.”
According to her, Ghanaian men in the Netherlands are no different and added that she prefers White men due to her experiences with African men. Moreover, Mavis requires the man to cater to her financially and be ready for medical tests, at least HIV.
