Prince, a Ghanaian who lived in Australia for ten years recently relocated to Ghana to pursue his dream of establishing an animal farm.
The Australia Borga (someone who has returned from abroad) studied Agriculture in school but travelled abroad before he could put it into practice. Speaking with DJ Nyaami on SVTV Africa, Prince mentioned that his plan to stay overseas changed after a few years in Australia.
According to Prince, he was not free to do what he wanted and was restricted by the stress of living and working abroad. As a result, he decided to move to Ghana to be a farmer.
“I’m into animal farming. I have pigs, goats and poultry. I’m in Australia right now but it is only for a visit. My family is still here, so I visit but live in Ghana now. I used to visit Ghana every year until I relocated. I won’t stay abroad anymore.
He added that the lifestyle abroad is not built for Africans to stay, and said “it is a mismatch”. Prince urged Africans living abroad only to work and bring the money home instead of living there.
