Ghanaian-based in Sweden Madam Dorcas revealed that she has invited family members to visit Sweden but they were all refused indiscriminately.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Madam Dorcas mentioned that they were all denied because they did not ‘believe’ that they would return to Ghana.
“I’ve invited family members to Sweden, and they all returned as planned. I gave a couple of an invite who still have active US visas but the Danish embassy refused the application. There was no substantive reason for their refusal.
I gave them my tax documents and all but the visa officer said they do not believe they will come back. More recently, my husband invited pensioners to a program in Sweden and they were also refused for the same reason.”
Madam Dorcas urged the Ghanaian Foreign Ministry to address the situation as they are unable to see their family and friends.
Some other Ghanaians have also stated that they were denied Swedish visas for the same reason.
