Eric Ntiamoah, a Ghanaian shared his experience with the Danish Embassy on how Sweden visa applications have been refused twice without substantive reason.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide with DJ Nyaami, Mr Ntiamoah disclosed that he applied with all the necessary documents stating his reasons but was refused twice. His first application was based on an invite to attend his nephew’s wedding but the Embassy claimed the relationship between him and his host (sister) was not ‘substantially documented.’
“Meanwhile I added all the documents that prove she is my sister. I printed our WhatsApp messages and even added messages with my nephew. Then they said I had not provided the purpose for my stay when it was already stated that it was to attend a wedding.
My second application was last month after my nephew’s wife gave birth. I even added my sister’s Ghana birth certificate to prove our relationship further. They gave me the same reason that I failed to justify the reason for application.”
Mr Ntiamoah added that he believes the Embassy does not thoroughly review the documents but denies the applications. He has applied for the third time with more documents to prove his relationship.
