Ghanaian farmer, Prince Dadzie disclosed that he relocated permanently from Norway to start a farm in Ghana.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Ghana, Mr Dadzie mentioned that he started the venture with less than GHS12,000 and has not regretted it ever since. Prince made about GHS100,000 within a year.
Prince Dadzie grows green peppers, tomatoes and corn on his poultry farm. He said he has not regretted relocating because farming is a good investment, especially in Ghana.
“All the money we are looking for in the bush but many have not realised it. I invest about GHS10,000 in growing green pepper and within three months, I make GHS50,000 profit. Even if you have a job in Accra, rent land and have someone manage it.
I’ve lived in Norway, South Africa. I got locked here during the pandemic and decided to concentrate on the farm fully. I can go back anytime but farming is okay for me. I make about GHS100,000 within the year and the stress abroad is not worth it.”
Moreover, he encouraged the youth to invest in farming instead of travelling abroad to endure harsh weather conditions searching for greener pastures.
