Florence Adu, a Ghanaian based in the US disclosed that her biological daughter had an affair with her husband for months and fell pregnant while they had a 7-month-old baby together.
In an interview with DJ Nyaami on SVTV AFRICA, Madam Florence mentioned that she lived abroad while her husband lived in Ghana with her two children (a girl and a boy). She believed her husband was a great stepfather to her kids until her son saw them having sex.
According to Florence, the family who visited her kids raised an eyebrow about their familiarity but she did not think of it until her son confirmed it.
“My son also had his suspicions and decided to watch them closely. He locked himself up in his room, pretending to be out of the house. When my husband came home, he went to my daughter’s room and said, ‘Let’s have sex before your brother comes home.’
He was shocked but waited till they were together and barged in there to see them doing it. My son fought them, and my husband fled the house with only what he wore. Meanwhile, I was nursing his 7-month-old baby here in the UK,” she recounted.
Madam Florence added that the shock and betrayal made her suicidal. She said, “I prepared the drug and set it on the table. But my baby started crying, and it made me cry the more. Then I heard a voice telling me to stop. I would have been dèad by now.”
