Ghanaian Artist behind the biggest Kumawood Movie soundtracks, Patrick Adu, AKA Na True disclosed that he has accomplished more in six years in Canada than many years as a musician in Ghana.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Patrick mentioned that he made money from his talent in Ghana but could fully depend on it. As a result, Na True took a break from music and travelled abroad for greener pastures.
Na True stayed in the US for a year but according to him, it was not as anticipated. He returned from the US empty-handed and eventually moved to Canada.
“I’ve been to Italy, Spain, Denmark, UK. For the US, I visited nine times with my visa. I returned empty-handed after a year in the US and got a visa to Canada. My flight ticket became a problem, so a Pastor bought me for me.
Canada has been good to me. I can tell you on authority that I’ve achieved more within my short stay than working in Ghana as a musician. We get equal opportunities in Canada and the US than in Europe.”
Patrick currently works as a tow truck driver. He shared the nature of his job and living in Canada as an African.
