Martha Asiamah revealed that her ex-boyfriend and his friend attacked her with acid after she asked for a breakup.
in an interview on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Martha Asiamah mentioned that her ex-boyfriend stayed by her bedside for two weeks caring for her until he gave the assailant up and fled.
Martha was unhappy in the two-year relationship due to his constant stalking and demand for a blood covenant. She recounted that her ex-boyfriend had confirmed her location just before the attack.
“I went downstairs to check a TV pole when my ex’s friend poured the acid on me. I started shouting for help and my grandmother rushed to me and fell in the acid splashed on the floor. She also sustained severe burns on her thing and leg.
My ex was with me at the hospital for two weeks, dealing with the police reports. He made a report that he knew someone with acid in their possession but he fled after the suspect was arrested,” she recounted.
Martha’s ex-boyfriend left his phone behind. This aided in investigations that concluded that he was the mastermind behind the attack. However, the Kumasi Central Police Station has failed to locate the suspect.
