Spain-based Ghanaian Ewurama Appiah mentioned that she has never worked for a company abroad because her skills gave her a full-time job.

Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Ewuramaa shared the importance of learning skills (s) before travelling abroad. She indicated that her skills as a beautician gave her a job in Germany and eventually Spain.

Ewurama travelled to Germany, where she stayed for nine years before relocating to Spain. According to Miss Appiah, she realised she could earn more with her skills in Spain than in Germany. Moreover, it was easier for her to get a work/stay permit in Spain than in Germany.

“Immediately after I got to Germany, I started working because of the skills I have. I’ve never worked for a company abroad. It is better to travel abroad with a skill. That’s what I’ve been doing for over twenty years abroad. It is good to make money with your skills than working for someone,” she noted.

Madam Appiah travelled abroad leaving behind her two kids. She returned to Ghana for the first time, ten years later and revealed that her secondborn could not identify her. It could take some time to build a bond with her kids again.
