US-based Ghanaian Mr Kingfred disclosed that he has been in the US for 33 years but he does not have the required documents to stay or work.

According to Kingfred, he found a loophole in the system while in a US detention for three years after he was arrested in 1988 for possessing fake travel documents.

In a chat with DJ Nyaami on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Kingfred explained how he has been able to live in America for over three decades without documents but has enjoyed all the benefits of any American citizen. He added that he plans on relocating to Ghana permanently.

“I found out I got to get a social card and then a driver’s license with my I-9 and passport. I was given six months to stay. The social card and driver’s license were what I needed to work. I learned these things from my three years in jail.

“That’s why I say my time there were the best years of my life. I’ve never used a credit card. Everything I own here I bought it in cash. I pay for hospital bills but it’s no different from the insurance people pay,” he said.

Through research, Kingfred found a school in Utah where he could study for free and got a Welding Certificate there. Kingfred added that he plans to relocate to Ghana to establish a business.
