Canada-based Ghanaian Danny Tagor stated that Ghanaian youths are focused on social media trends instead of checking the effectiveness of the government.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Danny mentioned that the Ghanaian youths are not angry enough for a change. As a result, the politicians and government officials continue the same medium to push the ‘trend’ agenda.
“The politicians know that the youths are not serious. So they can do whatever they like. Campaigns are about to start and you will see the number of youths who will make it seem like ‘dumsor’ is not happening. They (youths) don’t care about that. They care about a celebrity’s nakedness.
The politicians watch what we do and that is what gives them the power to do what they do. Ghana is experiencing dumsor and the whole country is quiet. No youth is angry enough. The entertainment reviews are more important than economic review,” he noted.
Danny added that Ghanaians would continue to suffer until the youths arise and make the leaders accountable for their actions. He alleged that politicians may be behind the constant release of such unpleasant content on social media.
