Kelvin, a Ghanaian based in Germany, has stated that his family would have to see him again in heaven because there is no reason for him to return to Ghana.
In a Daily Hustle Worldwide interview with DJ Nyaami, Kelvin indicated that unlike other Ghanaians abroad who work tirelessly to support their family in Ghana, he has no such responsibility because his family are not dependent on him.
“I would choose Berlin over heaven. I’ve got everything I want in this world. The last time I visited Ghana was in 2015. There is no reason for me to visit Ghana. I’ll meet my family in heaven. If I had died in Libya, they wouldn’t have seen me ever again.
I speak to my family and support them when I can, but I have no reason to be in Ghana. Why would I return to Africa when presidents fly here to seek medical attention,” he quizzed.
Kelvin firmly believes that living in Germany is not as stressful as many Ghanaians tend to portray it. He added that most Africans who complain of stress abroad go for jobs they do not enjoy.
“Some Ghanaians only travel abroad with money as the main focus. That is why they often complain of stress here. Many accept cleaning and kitchen porter jobs instead of learning the language for better opportunities.”
