Ghanaian artiste Empress Ghadafi disclosed that she was unhappy and depressed in Canada until she relocated to Ghana recently.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Empress Ghadafi mentioned that moving back to Ghana has been her best decision yet. Empress left Ghana as a child and after 25 years, has returned home to search for her roots. According to Empress, she needed “to be in Ghana for my future. My soul is at peace in Ghana.”
“I visited Ghana 8 years ago, and my late grandmother advised me to come home. A while later, I became very depressed in Canada. I wasn’t happy. Getting up to even eat became a problem. My heart wasn’t in it anymore. So I came to Ghana last year with my youngest child.”
Moreover, Empress Ghadafi added that she is not in support of Canada accepting LGBTQ and did not want her kids living in that space. Empress is a mother of three.
“I brought my youngest child because my spirit does not agree with the passing of LGBTQ. They make the kids believe they have the right to choose whatever they want to be. They’ve become too liberal for this mental illness. I want to raise the last one with Ghana values.”
