Canada-based Ghanaian Derrick has disclosed that his life has improved by 200% within the last three years in Canada and added that it is the best country to live in.
In a Daily Hustle Worldwide interview with DJ Nyaami, Derrick mentioned that he travelled to Canada on a student permit, but he lives well because of the systems put in place for citizens and international students.
“I came as a student, and I also work. I make enough enough enough. My life has improved by 200% comparing it to my life in Ghana.”
When asked about job availability in Canada, Derrick stated that there are still plenty of opportunities for individuals with the correct documentation, despite the increase in foreign workers.
“(Getting a job) depends on the type of job you want and your status in the country. If you decide to stay in Canada with a tourist visa, you will suffer to get a job. But for people on the working or student visa, the probability of getting a job is high,” he added.
Derrick disclosed that he makes CAD2400 monthly working in a warehouse. Speaking on the social life in Canada, the young man noted that Canada is no fun compared to Ghana as they all focus on work.
