Mark Amofa Baah, a Ghanaian living in the UK, disclosed that he had to close down his poultry farm business in Ghana because the employee was more focused on church activities than the job.
During an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Mr Amofa Baah revealed that he returned to Ghana to establish a poultry farm and had to cease production due to unproductive employees.
“After setting up the business, I returned to the UK with my wife and kids because we had just moved here from Italy. I had planned to return to Ghana to manage it. The problem was that my employee was more focused on his church than the job.
People in the area sometimes called to tell me he had not fed them, but I fed them as early as 5 am when I was around. I didn’t have anybody to manage it for me, so I sold the fowls and closed it down,” he said on SVTV AFRICA.
According to Mr Amofa, he planned to return to Ghana after two years to settle and manage the poultry farm business, but the employee caused its collapse.
He described life abroad as a prison he always wished to escape. However, his employee collapsed his dream to manage a business in Ghana upon his return.
