Four Ghanaian ladies have arrived in Ghana with the support of the SVTV Africa Foundation.
Erica, Nora, Amina and Joycelyn arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, after over a year in Egypt.
Joycelyn claimed that they were promised cleaning jobs in Egypt that paid over GHS4000, but instead, she was sold for $2,000. Moreover, agents charge them thousands of dollars and seize their passports until the amount is paid.
Some patrons supported the SVTV AFRIFA Foundation in sponsoring flight tickets to Ghana. Aside from that DJ Nyaami gave each lady GHS1000 to start anew in Ghana.
“We thank you all for the support. We are grateful and pray for God’s blessing for all those who gave us this money.”
SVTV Africa Foundation hopes to bring back more Ghanaian ladies stranded in Egypt. Kindly support us as we embark on this initiative. Contact SVTV AFRICA for more information.
