Obaa Rose, a Ghanaian businesswoman, has stated that she has never planned to live abroad and does not complain about the country’s current economy because she has a job.
In a chat on Daily Hustle Ghana with SVTV Africa, Rose mentioned that there is money in the country and with her job, she does not dream of staying abroad to hustle.
“The only reason I may decide to travel abroad is because of the inaccessibility of wheelchairs in most places in Ghana. That’s the only thing that kills my spirit. Aside from that, I have not dreamed of living abroad because I have a business.
I’m not among those who complain about the economy. I have a business, and I make an income monthly. I don’t mind if the government is not doing its job because I’m working. I’m okay and don’t depend on anyone,” she noted.
Despite her physical challenges, Rose insists that her condition does not render her unable to work, and therefore, she is not a beggar.
“There are many who are not disabled but are homeless, and so seeing a homeless disabled person is no news. However, I do the little I can to survive and never give up. Although my legs do not function, I have a brain that empowers me to improve my life.
Obaa Rose revealed how social media gave her a business. According to Rose, she used to depend on others until she discovered her soap-making business idea scrolling through TikTok.
