Ghanaian businesswoman Adwoa Konadu stated that she cannot live or work abroad because she believes success is not determined by location.
Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Adwoa indicated that despite the economic challenges in Ghana, she would not spend GHS200,000 or more to travel abroad.
“Travelling abroad is good, but not everyone would want to live there. That has never been my plan. Some Ghanaians people are suffering and have regretted going there.
I don’t see why people go to the extreme and risk their lives to be in Europe. I would invest in new businesses if I had that GHS200,000 people are spending on travelling abroad. There are many ways to make money in this country,” she said.
Adwoa mentioned that the Ghanaian youth must not complain about jobs because there are several jobs available and ways to make money in Ghana.
According to her, many who complain about jobs in Ghana are lazy.
