Ghanaian Michael Osei Kufour revealed that he has no reason to return to Ghana after two years in the UK.
Speaking on SVTV Africa, Michael indicated that he travelled to the UK on a student visa and has graduated with a Master’s Degree, however, he has no intention of returning to Ghana to work.
“What am I coming back to Ghana to do? Why would I return when I could send my father a monthly allowance even while in school? I went for my wife within four months.
In those first four months, I got a job that changed my visa from a student to a working visa. So I decided to bring my wife. It has helped me because she brings me luck,” Michael said.
Speaking on life in the UK, Michael indicated that “it is just as we heard in Ghana. It is fun and the job is tough, but you are well paid at the end of the month.
I had to convince a friend to stay and work for his first pay. After the first month, he got over GHS9000 and decided to stay.”
