UK-based Ghanaian Vera Osei disclosed that her ex-husband cursed her after she asked for a divorce.
Vera indicated that her ex-husband was insecure and often accused her of cheating. Speaking with DJ Nyaami on SVTV AFRICA, Vera mentioned that she saw the red flags in the early stages of their relationship, but she ignored them.
“I saw the signs and postponed the wedding twice. It continued into the marriage. He sometimes called to ask if I was in a hotel with another man. He would call to say the neighbours are complaining of noise from our home, maybe I’m in there with another man. I got tired of it and gave up,” she said on Daily Hustle Worldwide.
According to Vera, she had to put her education on hold to have a child for him to secure his permit to stay in the UK. She added that she was spiritually attacked after their separation.
“My ex-husband even cursed me. He told me that even women without kids find it difficult to find a man. It would be better for me to humble myself for his spirit to cover me as my husband,” Vera added.
