Jacinta Kankam Boadi, a Ghanaian woman based in the UK, has disclosed that her biggest regret is having children because she did not want kids.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Madam Jacinta indicated that she would have sold off her three kids if the slave trade was still on. According to Jacinta, her white husband changed her perception of life.
“I regret having children because I didn’t want kids. That is my regret in life. My daughter recently asked whether I’d like to give birth again, and I said no, but I would have sold them off if the slave trade was still on, and I mean it.
My mindset has changed it. I think like the white people because of my husband. I used to hate them because of the slave trade, but it changed after I got to know them,” she said.
Madam Jacinta Boadi added that she has refused to visit Ghana with her husband because her British ex-husband divorced her after a visit to Ghana.
“My ex-husband and I had a marriage certificate but never heard from him again after returning to the UK. So I won’t take him (husband) to Ghana because of past mistakes,” Jacinta added.
