Canada-based Ghanaian Daniel Tagor stated that many Ghanaians living abroad would prefer to build someone’s empire than theirs because many lack vision.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Daniel indicated that unlike the Indians living abroad, Ghanaians are content with a menial job abroad and would not study or establish businesses. He added that some lack vision while many refuse to support the dreams of others.
“Ghanaians only fight over the useless things abroad. Ghanaians cannot come together to start a business because it will collapse over trivial issues. I’ve met some Ghanaians here and told them my visions, but they trashed it.
They told me they would have done it if it was impossible. They’d rather build someone else’s empire the their own. They’re content with the title they have. Many have stopped talking because of food. 95% of Ghanaians abroad lack vision,” Daniel said.
Mr Tagor added that many Ghanaians abroad also establish businesses but employ other nationals to front them. He recounted how some Ghanaians reported a business owner who only employed Ghanaians even without a work visa.
