Ghanaian artiste based in Belgium, Lady P revealed that a family friend sexually abused her at 17 years but she could not make a report on the case.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Lady P indicated that her family decided to settle the case out of court and kept the baby. However, the baby’s father has refused to take responsibility.
“He was my cousin’s friend and we live in the same area back in Ghana. So it became a family issue but they didn’t take it seriously. We never dated. He came to our house when my mother and brother were out for a party and forced himself on me.
His family came to apologise and promised to deal with but they never did. I’m planning to take it to court now. He has refused to cater to our 16-year-old,” she narrated.
Lady P met another man and had four kids with him, however, they eventually broke up.
Speaking on her music, Portia Kyei, as she is privately known mentioned that she is a highlife artist. She shared some of her aspirations with DJ Nyaami on SVTV AFRICA.
