Canada-based Ghanaian Maame Mary stated that she does not have feelings for her husband anymore because he did not support her move to Canada financially or emotionally.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide with DJ Nyaami, Mary indicated that he may have been envious of her because her husband was also eager to travel abroad but had not got a visa.
Maame Mary mentioned that she had to pay GHS250,000 to the travel agent after her visa was approved. As a result, she sold off her retail shop and car and secured a loan to make the journey to Canada. Mary’s husband did not provide a pesewa.
“I would never deny that he supported me while I was in school, but he changed after I got the visa. Even when I saw him with cash, he would tell me it was not his. We lived together, but we barely spoke. It was my mom who helped with everything.
I have no love for him anymore, but we still talk. Our kids have joined me in Canada, and I’m moving on with my life. Aside from that, we had marital issues too, but I wouldn’t like to share,” she said.
