Georgina Asiedu, a UK-based Ghanaian, disclosed that she sold her car and four-bedroom house to travel abroad and has not regretted her decision yet.
In a Daily Hustle Worldwide interview with DJ Nyaami, Mrs Asiedu noted that she got accepted into a university in the UK and sold off her car and house to make the journey. According to Georgina, she had no plans of leaving Ghana, but a friend encouraged her to try.
“Travelling abroad was not my plan, but I had visited the UK before. I managed to buy a car, and I started building a four-bedroom house. It was not completed, but I sold them to come to the UK because the fees were expensive.
I told myself I’d make it back, and I can boldly say that I haven’t regretted it. People advise against selling properties to travel, but there should be a purpose for it,” she narrated.
Moreover, Madam Georgina indicated that she has accomplished the goals she set for herself before travelling out of her home country and reiterated that she has had no regrets yet.
However, she shared some struggles she experienced in the UK and advised the youths on how to deal with such problems.
