Thomas Amponsah, an Italy-based Ghanaian, revealed that he stabbed himself upon the realization that he had lost his first love, Ama, who lived in Ghana.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Thomas revealed that he found out she was cheating on social media and confronted her about it, but Ama insulted her and eventually called it quits. The heart-wrenching moment of losing his long-time girlfriend caused him to pull a knife on himself.
“We started dating when I was 14, but I left Ghana soon after. We have been dating for all these years, and I catered to her like a husband would do. I sent her money every month and gave her all she needed.
She called me a fool and a madman because I confronted her about what I saw in her TikTok comments. Ama told me she would not be attracted to me even if I married her. I stabbed myself. I had to undergo heart surgery because of Ama,” he told DJ Nyaami.
According to Thomas, he has been in Italy for 27 but has never visited Ghana. In response to whether that could be the reason for the change of heart, Thomas said,” I have her money often and took care of her too. I was planning to bring her to Italy soon.”
