Owoahene Acheampong, a Ghanaian based in Germany, mentioned that he was a successful event planner in Ghana but could not keep up with the negative talks from friends and acquaintances.
In a Daily Hustle Worldwide interview, Jahbless revealed he makes less than €3000 in Germany but has no regrets about leaving his home country.
“I make about €2000 monthly, and my rent is almost €900. I have to buy food and clothes, including bus tickets. If I don’t plan well, I may not be able to save GHS5000 monthly. But I would have made more from my business in Ghana.
The unnecessary hate and jealousy in Ghana made me decide to stay in Germany. Instead of friends encouraging me or asking how I did it, they fought against me. In Germany, no one will ask why I braided my hair. I prefer the freedom here,” Mr Acheampong said on SVTV AFRICA.
Jahbless added that most of his friends who tried to sabotage his business now ask him for money. SVTV AFRICA’s DJ Nyaami asked the former businessman if the youth could succeed in Ghana Jahbless said, “Yes. There is money in Ghana, but the youths only focus on TikTok now.”
