UK-based Ghanaian Yaw Owusu stated that travelling abroad to hustle is meant for the relatively poor or jobless in society to get a better job.
Speaking on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami, Yaw Owusu mentioned that Ghanaians who can save GHS5000 to GHS7000 monthly should not travel abroad.
In response to whether the Ghanaian youth can only succeed by travelling abroad, Yaw said, “No. That’s not the case. If you have a good job or are self-employed in Ghana and can save GHS5000 to GHS7000, there’s no need to come here. It’s all about management.
People who do hard work like, kayayo, and Stone breakers must travel. Such people deserve the opportunity to travel. I agree that travelling abroad is good for the less privileged.”
Yaw Owusu’s family lived in the UK, but he grew up in Ghana. Eventually, he got a chance to join his family. Yaw spoke about life in the UK; jobs, cost of living and more.
