Ghanaian rapper and proponent of the ‘Twipop’ genre, Dr Cryme, has stated that he has not quit music but is currently focusing on other streams of income.
Speaking on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Dr Cryme indicated that he has not given up on music as many speculate. However, he believes an artiste must have multiple source of income to survive. Cryme added that being in the limelight creates opportunities that he must utilise.
“Music gives us chance for the world to know us, and that comes with other opportunities. Other businesses have taken my time, but I have not quit music.
There are multiple channels of making money from music now, but we must welcome other opportunities. Music alone is working for some artistes, but you need a lot of different streams of income.
Dr Cryme revealed that he runs a Consultancy firm that provides expert advice on travelling, schooling abroad, etc.
Speaking on his music, Dr Cryme mentioned that he is currently promoting his new single, ‘Odo Visa,’ available on all streaming platforms.
