Rapper Sarkodie’s former househelp, Michael Antwi AKA, Akwesi Stranger, disclosed that his biggest mistake was travelling abroad without informing his boss.
In an interview on SVTV AFRICA with DJ Nyaami, Akwesi indicated that he stayed in King Sark’s house for three years, and Sark catered to him like a son. Akwesi Stranger became popular after the rapper Sarkodie posted him on social media to put a shine on his rap talent.
While living with Sarkodie, Stranger revealed that the chance to travel came unexpectedly and could not inform Sarkodie before leaving.
“I got a call that I’d travel on Monday, and I thought it was a joke because I knew it wasn’t easy to travel. It was in 2020 when Madam Tracy travelled to give birth, and my boss joined her.
So on Saturday, the person called again and had me pack up quickly to leave. I just cleaned the house and hid the key somewhere. I still thought it was a joke until I boarded the plane,” he narrated.
According to Michael, it is the biggest mistake of his life because “he never wronged me. There was no sense in what I did, and I didn’t think it through. I’ve spoken to Sarkodie, but I don’t think that’s enough. I will continue begging him until I meet him again.”
