Germany-based Ghanaian Seth stated that he made over GHS600,000 from ‘sakawa’ and quit to start a new life abroad.
Speaking on SVTV AFRICA’s Daily Hustle Worldwide, Seth indicated that he had friends in that line of ‘work’ and decided to try it. Seth mentioned that he was not enthused about the ‘job’ and quit after five years.
“I started in 2011 until I travelled in 2016. I wasn’t fully invested in it, so I quit after making some money. I made more than GHS600,000 but from different people. The highest amount I got in bulk was almost GHS170,000.”
“I had friends who visited Juju for spiritual backing, but it never worked for me. So I lost most of the money. I decided to start a new life abroad after speaking with my brother, Dr Likee,” he told DJ Nyaami.
According to Seth, he saved enough and paid a travel agent to start the process for him to travel about. He paid GHS50,000 to the agent, but he got the visa after a third try.
He shared more about his journey to Germany and mentioned that he was almost deported from Sweden while making a transit.
