Many Ghanaians and Africans abroad often complain bitterly about family members who squander their hard-earned monies for projects in their home countries.
Russia-based Andrews Asenso is an offender of such acts. Andrews revealed that his siblings abroad often sent money to him to build projects or buy cars for them, but he spent it all on women.
In an interview on Daily Hustle Worldwide, Andrews revealed that he lived a comfy lifestyle in Ghana thanks to his siblings living abroad. However, when he heard of their coming, he booked the next flight to the then-visa-free country, Russia.
“If the money comes to me, I’ll spend it. I spent all the money they gave me on a building project or to buy a car for them. At the time, we thought it was easy to make money abroad.
I was a teacher, and I got used to the comfortable life. My salary was not enough for me. I sold my father’s car and wasted the money. I rented out my sibling’s house and fled to Russia. It was visa-free,” he said on SVTV AFRICA.
According to Mr Asenso, he spent the money lavishly on “women. That’s all I did.” He shared more about his hustle in Russia.
